Everyone I think knows times are hard, even rich folk have to know something is up. I have found a nice kid that is trying to help folks more than rich folks do. I have the link to his youtube site, you can watch his videos and see for yourself the kind hearted, motivated, caring and hopeful kid that is needed a little help. Perhaps you are one that could help him, if not tell someone else or share the link in other places. I share this since he is interesting and you might indeed wish to hear of someone that is good hearted in this very difficult world. We can do and be the change that this world needs.
Here he is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08ds3i9uTJc&feature=share
Finding the neat things to share with a constantly changing world. We never know what is the next big thing and so I offer what I find for your pleasure to join, use or share at your will! Have fun!!

Could you use some help getting your medicaton?
I have found a site where you can put in the medication you need and it will tell you if there is help out there, a program that will enable you to get it and be healthier.
http://www.rxassist.org/
The following is from the site:
The Web's most current and
comprehensive directory of
Patient Assistance Programs
Patient assistance programs are run by pharmaceutical companies to provide free medications to people who cannot afford to buy their medicine. RxAssist offers a comprehensive database of these patient assistance programs, as well as practical tools, news, and articles so that health care professionals and patients can find the information they need. All in one place.
So I hope you find this useful and that you are able to get the medication that you need. I would not mind you telling me if it works for you or a even a loved one or friend. Sometimes we need a bit of help and there is no shame in that.

For a good cause, are you ready!
Kraft First Taste is an email I get regularly and normally I am collecting recipes to feed the 5 of us. They are a good site to keep looking at and here is a paragraph from an email they sent me. I think it is such a good idea and we all have a good handful of people we could send some e-cards too.
Here it is:
First Taste members have early access to the Recipe for Joy program, so you can be among the first to experience the joy of giving and spread the word about it. Copy and paste this URL into your browser: http://email.kraftfoods.com/cgi-bin2/DM/y/eBLgU0QARSA0brI0EGXe0EV and send a FREE holiday e-card today and every day through December 31, 2009!
Today and every day through December 31, 2009!
For more information about Feeding America, copy and paste this URL into your browser: http://email.kraftfoods.com/cgi-bin2/DM/y/eBLgU0QARSA0brI0EGWG0Ey
*Meals are used for illustrative purposes only. Kraft Foods has set a goal of donating the monetary equivalent of 10 meals for each e-card sent, up to a cap of one million meals. Feeding America's meal conversion is effective until 6/30/10.
So there it is, I hope you can do this and help many that may be needing the help. Seems like a good idea though I think our methods of food distribution could be better. Happy Holidays everyone!

Food for those that need it!
I have found a video you can go and view and for each view money is given so that Kraft and its partners can provide food to those that really need it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6rpkyWck3A
I have been fortunate to have been on the receiving end of food donations since I lost my job and the fire we had a few years ago. The food given is of good quality and much appreciated since it allows us to have food we like longer during the month. Tough to eat when it is not what you are used to though when hungry you eat to keep the growlies away for sure. I hope none of you are in this situation but if you are help is out there. View the video and as they say share it with family, friends and coworkers. Share my blog for a quick link to get to it or save it yourself to go and view it often to help them along.

Prescriptions that you need help with!?
I have found a site which just started out as a link in a group I belong to. I clicked on it and found a site that could be a big help if you have prescriptions to fill and are like many folks "out of work".
http://www.needymeds.org/
I urge to to take a look and pass along a link yourself to loved ones and friends. There is a link if you are a first time user of the site, additional programs you might not know about, a link to a prescription card that I myself have. I don't do alot of medicine just good to know if I have to, I do have a card to help me with the cost.
Feel free to comment back if you have found it useful for yourself or anyone you know. I like to hear of good that can happen in this sometimes impersonal or just plain hard life.

Ten Rules for Pet Owners!
1. When you adopt me, remember that my life is likely to last 15 to 20 years. Please don't forsake me; any separation from you is painful.
2. Please give me time to understand what it is you want from me. Change can be more difficult for me than for you.
3. Please don't be angry with me for a long time, and don't lock me up alone as punishment. You have your human family, your friends, your entertainment and I ONLY HAVE YOU!!!
4. Please trust me and help me to trust you . . . it is crucial for mine as well as your well being.
5. Talk to me . . . even if you think I don't understand your words I understand your voice and love when you speak to me and stroke me.
6. Before you hit me remember that I have teeth and claws and could easily hurt you, but I choose not to bite and scratch you because I love you.
7. Be aware, that however you treat me, I will never forget!
8. Before you scold me for being uncooperative or bad, ask yourself if maybe something is wrong and there is another reason for my behavior. Perhaps I am sick, hot, old or just plain tired, frustrated and weak. PLEASE TRY TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE ME AND PUT YOURSELF IN MY PLACE.
9. Please take care of me when I get old and don't abandon me, for you too will grow old. Please notice when I am ill because I need you to take me to the vet for help, just as you need to see a doctor when your sick.
10. Go with me on the most difficult journeys. Never say, "I can't bear to watch" or "Do it when I leave" because I need you with me even at the end of my journeys. Please always do what is best for me even if it is unbearable for you to do so because I love you and trust that you will.
Just thought that this was worth sharing since becoming a pet owner is often too easy and really should be thought through. Almost like having children, they do rely on us and being responsible means a happier life for human and animal alike.
Good luck in all your pet owning relationships!

Help with prescription drugs!
www.scbn.org
www.FreeMedicineRevolution.com
www.myrxadvocate.com
Paying for your prescription medication can be daunting when you have several challenges. Montel Williams had a show and he gave good information about the drug program. There was even a commercial he did that was aired. I hope many people took advantage of it.
Free Prescription Medication is available through Patient Assistance Programs sponsored by America's pharmaceutical companies. These prescription drug assistance programs bring much needed prescription assistance to those who lack prescription coverage. Millions of Americans are receiving free prescription medicine with a wholesale value of over 4 Billion dollars annually. Still, many who need this valuable prescription drug assistance are unable to receive the free medicine that is available due to the enormous amounts of red tape involved. Also, many who are eligible for these prescription assistance programs (pap) have no idea that they even exist. As a result, millions of Americans must make the choice between taking their prescription medication or purchasing food or other basic necessities. Select Care Benefits Network's Patient Advocacy Team, in partnership for prescription assistance with you and your doctor make the process of receiving free medicine simple for everyone
Good luck to you if you are facing the challenge of paying for your prescription drugs.
