Need help with eyeglasses? or?

Hi everyone, once again I have something that could be value to alot of us. Since I have not been working I have been able to update my eyewear and this could really help.

http://www.aoa.org/

Got to this site and scroll down toward the bottom and click on Vision USA and there if you are low income or unemployed etc. you could get some help with your vision correction. You fill out a form and in about a month you should receive a voucher to see a participating eye doctor.

Is such a good thing to be able to find things like this and get it out onto the web where my friends and other subscribers can find it and spread it to their loved ones. I often do things online for my girlfriend that does not have a computer and this might be another one of those things.

Diabetic, need help with test strips etc?

I have found a site that might help you out if you need test strips to test your sugars. It is Abbott Labs. I have a friend that qualified for it a few years ago so it is an ongoing thing.

http://www.abbott.com/global/url/content/en_US/40.20.15:15/general_content/General_Content_00066.htm

Seems to be a well put together site that is easy to navigate to the topic you need to access. I hope this helps and of course share it with those that you love that may have a need for this.

Presciption coupons?

I have found a site and thought it good to share here. I saw that they even have coupons for pet medicine. Check it out, I hope it helps folks, if not you, then share it with someone you know that could use this site to get coupons to extend what money we all have left.

http://www.internetdrugcoupons.com/

Good at CVS, Walgreens, WalMart, Target and perhaps more.
Coupons are listed in categories so it would be easy to find what is needed. Has a search feature also so you could enter what you seek and go straight to it.
They offer $6 dollars for you telling them of a coupon that is not on their site.
Seems a good thing to use, again, I hope I have helped someone.

Are you concerned about GMO products?

In the event you are concerned with eating, drinking and using GMO (genetically modified organism) foods then I have a link for you. A chart that can be printed and carried with you while shopping and then you have an idea of which products are potentially harmful I have known for a long time that if you cannot pronounce a substance then it is probably man made and no longer good for healthy functioning of our bodies. I believe that this lack of caring of what we put into our bodies has lent itself to the obesity problems and declining health of our nation. So on to the link. I hope it is helpful and if you do not care, then I hope what you intake never harms you.

Knowledge is a key in our lives and one I wish more folks knew about. I hope this is interesting enough to start a conversation with your people that you live with, work with and play with. Might be a good thing that occurs for you and yours.

Thank you for continuing to read my blog, this a grand thing to be able to share and sometimes be of help. Have a good day no matter what you do.

Could you use some help getting your medicaton?

I have found a site where you can put in the medication you need and it will tell you if there is help out there, a program that will enable you to get it and be healthier.

http://www.rxassist.org/

The following is from the site:

The Web's most current and
comprehensive directory of
Patient Assistance Programs

Patient assistance programs are run by pharmaceutical companies to provide free medications to people who cannot afford to buy their medicine. RxAssist offers a comprehensive database of these patient assistance programs, as well as practical tools, news, and articles so that health care professionals and patients can find the information they need. All in one place.

So I hope you find this useful and that you are able to get the medication that you need. I would not mind you telling me if it works for you or a even a loved one or friend. Sometimes we need a bit of help and there is no shame in that.

For those that have a hard time hearing on the phone.

I have found a free and non downloading application that could help a loved one or even you and in time myself to know what people are saying on the phone.

http://www.sprintrelay.com/sprint_webcaptel/index.php

Whoever chooses to use this will need their cards since they have a 10 digit number to dial in when calling the user of this application. Sort of like a calling card I think. More and more of us are getting older and loss of hearing is something we will probably have to deal with on some level. Especially those with LOUD cars, those the use the earbuds or other musical listening device too loudly. Teaching my son and daughter to use sign language, I had a deaf friend once, and know that they will need that skill to help others in the future.

So check it out and share with those that could use this. I know I will keep it handy and hope others like it spring up and fill all our needs in the future.
