I know it has been a while since my last post, so hoping you find this post and then find it useful.

If you wish to work out or exercise and don't have the cash for one of those wristbands or apps. I found a site that could fit the bill and help you out too.

http://neilarey.com/

The following is from one of their pages..

Get Started

Welcome to DAREBEE, an independent global fitness resource. DAREBEE is a non-profit and also an ad-free and product placement-free website. All of the information here has been thoroughly researched and tested and provided free of charge. You can download and print anything – everything is provided in its entirety with no strings attached.

Here is a quick guide to get you started with the resource:

Programs

If you are new to DAREBEE training system it is usually a good idea to start with a single program. It will give structure to your training and will also provide you with an idea of the load and how well you can handle it. There are no official rest days in our programs but they are all very carefully balanced so you recover on the go, some days are a lot easier than others and the other way around. For daily training programs are easier than most of our individual workouts which are slightly more intense due to their standalone nature.

Individual Workouts

You can create your own weekly plan from our individual workouts by picking ones that appeal to you or use an existing weekly plan from the selection here.

If you’re creating your own weekly plan pick 3-5 daily workouts per week and rotate them to keep your body guessing for better results. The daily workouts collection grows daily so you will always have something new and fresh to try. You can pick workouts at random or you can focus on something specific using a filter at the bottom of the page. You can filter workouts by type, theme, focus and equipment.

We often update and revise existing routines based on workshops’ and users’ feedback. If you found a routine elsewhere on the web and it looks different from the one on this website - the one here is the latest version, always. We are constantly looking for ways to make our routines better and more effective so they work better for you.

Workout of the Day Feature

Every 24 hours we post a workout of the day. This feature follows a general plan for functional fitness. If you don’t know what to do and how to proceed you can just do the workout of the day every day. It follows a pattern that lets your muscles rest day after day. The feature is mainly designed to help you discover new workouts and try something new.

Random Workout Feature

We also have “pot luck” option on the homepage if you want to make yourself do something you normally wouldn’t. It takes you directly to a workout’s page and it is completely random. Click on “I’m feeling lucky” and it’ll surprise you.

Challenges

If you feel that a program or individual workouts is not enough, you can spice things up with a challenge or two. Some challenges have specific goals and others just add extra training and let you focus on a specific exercise and improve your technique, e.g., kicks and punches. All challenges last 30 days, a new one is added at the end of every month.

Running Section

New to running? Experienced runner? Want to become one? We have running charts, how-tos and tips in the running section. You can just follow one of the programs or you can add it to your main training plan whether it’s a program or an individual workout plan.

Daily Dares

Every 24 hours we release a new dare. Those are usually quick and often tricky exercises that you can complete in under 5-10 minutes. They are a fun way to add extra training into your day while having fun. Each dare comes with an EC (extra credit) optional subquest. Once you have completed the dare you have an option to check-in in the HIVE.

The HIVE Community

The Hive is a global DAREBEE community, it's a very friendly and welcoming place. You can post your progress and keep a workout log there in the Checking In section to stay accountable and motivated. It is also our official help desk - if you have any questions or not sure about something other members or DAREBEE team will come to your aid.

Don’t worry about not fitting in, the moment you join you are one of us. We will support and cheer you on as well as provide a safe environment to help you stay focused on your goals. The Hive explained in a greater detail here.

Video Exercise Library

We try to be as descriptive as possible when we name the exercises but if you are not sure, we have an exercise library to help you see how each one is performed. It is especially handy when it comes to martial arts moves that are not very easily deciphered by just looking at the illustrations. The library is not yet complete, we add exercises in batches whenever we can.

If you can't perform a move exactly it's perfectly ok to do it the best you can.

Themed Weeks & Events

Every so often we run a themed week. Each one is usually a 7-days long and it focuses on something very specific. Each day we release a new workout that is part of the themed week and you can just follow it from day to day until the week is completed. Themed weeks are announced in advance and then featured every day on the homepage in place of the Workout of the Day.

Have fun training and welcome to DAREBEE!

Good luck, being fit is something we all can better ourselves with and feel better.

If you have a loved one that has had cancer, a site that might be helpful.

With so many people, ladies in particular that are going through cancer scares, here is a site that might be helpful. I have shared it at Church and now on my blog which I have neglected for far too long. http://www.knittedknockers.org/ is the site. Again, I am hoping it is helpful for at least a few of you. If you are a crocheter you may be able to help also. Check it out. Am hoping to post a bit more regularly, depending on what I find that is helpful like I like to be.

Not into Politics?

I have someone that might be interesting to any one of us. Read on please.... David Jon Sponheim is running for President of the US in 2016. Sarah Hart is his running mate. On this show, they talk directly with you. We are running under America's Third Party. You can find out more about us at http://www.americasthirdparty.com - We are centrists - fiscally conservative and socially liberal. We have great ideas to improve America: from a Homestead Renewal Plan to an Ocean Pipeline. They talk about so much more than this and is quite interesting. The site has a part where you can find where you can see this guy in action. Talking the talk and with our help walking the walk. Definitely one of the interesting things I have found on the net. It sure is becoming more and more of the go to source for more and more of our daily lives and learning and support. I encourage you to check it out, you never know how this might be of value to you or anyone you might know.

Due to our new social climate....

I know that the media is all abuzz with the latest tragedy and I am heartsick over it. Not sure why we all cannot just get along. Alas we cannot and chances are now that any one of us could end up in the middle of some problem or another where you need to help or at least take care of whomever you are with. I found a couple of sites that can teach you methods of responding to injuries If you can’t get in-person training classes which is always the best way and costs money, check out the online TCCC References and the Combat Lifesaver Home Study Course. Both are free although the second on is a pdf you can access on flash drive if needed. I hope as usual that you find this useful and I am grateful for you reading my blog which I don't post to quite often enough. I pray for you safety always.

Do you have unused, unneeded or expired medications you don't know what to do with?

If you have medications that are laying around and for whatever reason you need to get rid of them, please do NOT flush them down the toilet or toss in with trash. Both ways get them into our environment and does no one any good. You have other options. Wherever you bought those medications may have a take in method where if you turn them in to them, they will dispose of them properly. If they don't try CVS, Rite Aid or WalMart even. The local police will probably help you out especially if they are narcotic type of medicines. They have ways to dispose of them safely too. In the event even the police is no help then try this link and check out how they might help you. fda.gov/forconsumers/consumerupdates/ucm101653.htm So I hope this fits a need in you or a friends life. Taking care of important things sometimes is what you need information for.

If you are one that will be hitting the road to live out your golden years or have the wanderlust that some of us have you will need to have an address. This site is one that will handle your mail and packages too. It is called Americas Mailbox, 514 Americas Way, Box Elder, South Dakota 57719-7600 USA 1-866-747-3700 http://www.americas-mailbox.com/ Reading through the testamonials it seems like this company goes out of its way to give you customer service. Hard to find now a days I think. I hope this helps one that is delving into the possibility of living on the road.
