Something a little different

As you all know, I normally put a link to something that will improve your life or that of a loved one. This time I am seeking to be of service to someone I have come to love on the net. This fine lady has done some free cooking videos/shows, paid ones too. Her current videos which are awesome is at Back to Basics Cooking class

I easily made time in my busy schedule online to view her videos and even learned a thing or two. Well, she has moved to France and her hubby had a job in a local auto garage. They have been great additions to their neighborhood there in France and even shared great motivating travel pics of the spots they frequented. He happens to be an artist and has a site where if you would be so kind to check out, there is some for sale and would help them out since the government there has not allowed for their continued participation in the lcoal economy. We all know it takes money to live thus the plea to share the link as well so that any with any disposable income or just collects artwork will have the opportunity to add to their collection and help a find couple and artist in the meantime. Andre Beaulieu Studio

Back to Shelly, she has a main site where you can find some great information One Roast Vegetable I have enjoyed very much my association online with this entertaining and informative lady that has a good following and full of life and cooking ability.

Check out the links I have provided. I am sure you know of others that you could share them with as well. Networking is a grand thing, the net world is fully capable of keeping us helping one another. I checked out Anre's site and see that he has sold a couple of paintings, maybe he will do requests, awesome to see the net work.

Maybe you wish to donate AND get a deduction!?

It has been a long time and I found the opportunity on a recent trip I took. Saw a billboard or road side advertising board and I thought it was perfect to share with you. If you have a boat or even a car you can check out this site http://www.boatangel.org/
I often find things that help those of us that are having a tough time on the lower end of the pay scale, however, this is one of those things that can benefit upper and lower ends of that pay scale. Better than having your beloved boat or car just sitting and deteriorating, you can donate it and get a tax write off. It will help even more by making that money you spent go really far. That is what I like about associations like this. If you don't have a boat I bet you know someone that might.

Need help with eyeglasses? or?

Hi everyone, once again I have something that could be value to alot of us. Since I have not been working I have been able to update my eyewear and this could really help.

http://www.aoa.org/

Got to this site and scroll down toward the bottom and click on Vision USA and there if you are low income or unemployed etc. you could get some help with your vision correction. You fill out a form and in about a month you should receive a voucher to see a participating eye doctor.

Is such a good thing to be able to find things like this and get it out onto the web where my friends and other subscribers can find it and spread it to their loved ones. I often do things online for my girlfriend that does not have a computer and this might be another one of those things.

Diabetic, need help with test strips etc?

I have found a site that might help you out if you need test strips to test your sugars. It is Abbott Labs. I have a friend that qualified for it a few years ago so it is an ongoing thing.

http://www.abbott.com/global/url/content/en_US/40.20.15:15/general_content/General_Content_00066.htm

Seems to be a well put together site that is easy to navigate to the topic you need to access. I hope this helps and of course share it with those that you love that may have a need for this.

Presciption coupons?

I have found a site and thought it good to share here. I saw that they even have coupons for pet medicine. Check it out, I hope it helps folks, if not you, then share it with someone you know that could use this site to get coupons to extend what money we all have left.

http://www.internetdrugcoupons.com/

Good at CVS, Walgreens, WalMart, Target and perhaps more.
Coupons are listed in categories so it would be easy to find what is needed. Has a search feature also so you could enter what you seek and go straight to it.
They offer $6 dollars for you telling them of a coupon that is not on their site.
Seems a good thing to use, again, I hope I have helped someone.

Prescriptions that you need help with!?

I have found a site which just started out as a link in a group I belong to. I clicked on it and found a site that could be a big help if you have prescriptions to fill and are like many folks "out of work".

http://www.needymeds.org/

I urge to to take a look and pass along a link yourself to loved ones and friends. There is a link if you are a first time user of the site, additional programs you might not know about, a link to a prescription card that I myself have. I don't do alot of medicine just good to know if I have to, I do have a card to help me with the cost.

Feel free to comment back if you have found it useful for yourself or anyone you know. I like to hear of good that can happen in this sometimes impersonal or just plain hard life.

A site that may be useful to us all.

When we go to the store and buy things we do bring them home intending on eating them in good time. Sometimes though things get put aside, hidden by accident or maybe on purpose. hmmm, what are we to do when we find them. Or Mom or Dad come over and say what is this? How long have you had this? Well, enough of the supposing and here is the site.

http://stilltasty.com/

I think you find this interesting and useful. Good luck in shopping and caring for all your perishables.

How much sugar do you eat?

I have found a new site that might be interesting. We are what we eat and this site though not all inclusive it is a site that can give you an idea what is being taken in by our bodies. Also they do not have natural sugars and added sugars as the labels do not yet do that either. I would really like to see that on the labels.

http://www.sugarstacks.com/beverages.htm

This link takes you to the beverages, poke around and see what is in fruit, cookies, etc.

Have a look and hope it opens a door for you to better and healhier living if you would like to improve your life.

Thanks as always for reading.

During this economy let us not forget our pets!

I do troll about the web and this one came to me. I belong to several groups and when I saw this I thought is very pertinent to the times. Good luck if you have pets, they are well worth keeping as a member of the family.

Below is a comprehensive list of pet financial aid-related organizations, listed alphabetically by state.
If your organization is offering assistance (such as pet food, discounted veterinary services including spay/neuter, temporary foster care, etc.) to individuals facing financial difficulties due to the current economic situation, please let us know about your programs by emailing foreclosurepets@ humanesociety. org (humanesociety. org)

Vet care/cost help and affording your pet links at the site.

Here are a few more sites that are worth a look if you need any help!

a.. IMOM Inc., IMOM.org

b.. Help-A-Pet, help-a-pet.org

c.. The Pet Fund, thepetfund.com

d.. Lost this one due to the economy goodsamfund.org

e.. United Animal Nations LifeLine Fund, uan.org

f.. Angels for Animals, angels4animals.org Could not get the page to load.

g.. Brown Dog Foundation, browndogfoundation.org/home

h.. Feline Veterinary Emergency Assistance Program, fveap.org

i.. Feline Outreach, felineoutreach. org

j.. Cats In Crisis, catsincrisis.org

k.. The Perseus Foundation (Cancer specific), PerseusFoundation. org

l.. Canine Cancer Awareness, caninecancerawarene ss.org

m.. Cody's Club (Radiation treatments), codysclub.bravehost.com/

n.. Lost this one due to the economy Muffin Pet diabetes fund

o.. The Mosby Foundation, themosbyfoundation. org

p.. Magic Bullet Fund (Cancer Specific), themagicbulletfund.org

q.. The Binky Foundation, binkyfoundation.org

r.. God's Creatures Ministry Veterinary Charity, http://www.all- creatures. org/gcm/help-cf.html

So this is a good spot to start at. Remember also that if the economy has not touched you then I wholeheartedly suggest and expect you to donate to one or more of these fine organizations. Perhaps start with one of the ones on hold due to the slow down in the economy.

I hope you have a beloved family pet or two and that life is treating you and them very well, despite all we are going through.

New site I found!

Hi everyone, am glad to make a new post. I was going through a file for my cooking groups I belong to and found this site. http://www.sustainabletable.org/intro/dictionary/

We seem to heading into the area where we are taking care of our bodies better and the best way is through food which sooo many of us love. Personally I am growing alot of my food in the garden this year and will be canning and dehydrating alot!

The site is very informative about the different terms you will see in the shopping mart. There is a blog you can follow if you like. Can find out how to make a more natural pregnancy, find out why you should eat better when you can and there are 3 links to their other sites.

Truely a site that I think is something you might like to know about.

Well, this is something!

I am very active on the web and over time some sites kind of fall by the way side. I just got a notice from Zorpia.com where I had a warning and then boom a termination notice. So having sent them an email saying ok, I just talked about what was going on in my life and that mentioned the things I do online and that must be what is the problem. I told them most of the people that contacted me were out for sex talk and stuff and I found that harrassment. I do have a few friends that I had there that I keep in touch with elsewhere so that is not a problem there.
I just checked and it is listed as banned. hahahaha I made the last entry a year ago. They sure are on the ball.

Personally I think my lack of activity and the fact I did not pay to upgrade and stayed free irked them. So sad that they lost one lady and maybe a few more and the site will be more populated with perverted types. Oh well, like I said I did not go there anymore and even this blog had been on the back burner.

You see I had to work in the real world more since I lost the part time job I had worked at for a long time that made enough to keep this second income contributing.

Have been working as a temp and inteviewing fairly frequently but nothing real yet. I am interviewing this morning for a new custodial job. I think my girlfriend and I will work together again and that is great for both of us. We work so well together the job gets done and no complaints. Nice when that happens and it can be a benefit to any company.

Well, hopefully I will get this blog going again and I really do hope life is treating you kind. Being Banned is a such a negative thing. Just wanted to remind you all that the net is littered with such bad things. May you have much luck in keeping away from the sites and people online that are just not good for any of us.

Thank you for reading.

Might just replace a couple of other things that I am doing currently that are a bit slow. Please check it out. Let me know if you will what you think!!

Goodies for holiday shopping!

http://www.giftthing.com

I found a really neat site that has lots of goodies that you could get for friends and family. I personally have bought a few things for me and my family as well.
Pillows, wind chimes, kitchen things, and more. There is a sale going on now and prices have been reduced on some things also. The lady has boxes of things in her room and wishes to reduce that on-hand inventory. I will check her out again before Christmas and am hoping that all who read this will find her site and give it a try to see what might appeal to you.
Her site is easy to move through and you can even search for items. Be careful and note the items numbers since some are one of a kind and probably cannot locate another. That means you get a deal I think. http://www.giftthing.com

The artist lady I showcased a month or so ago!

My dear friends,
I have made an additional 13 coasters for my special Jewish and Christian friends for the holidays. Please take a peak, and let me know what you think. Okay? I also have tee shirts for the holidays. If you go to the left side of the page, and click "shop by price" from $15 to $20 and $20 to $35 you will see them.
If you have a photo you would like me to use, email me.
Have a great day, huggers, M&M Margieanne watercolor and silhouette artist.
Click below.

I think that she does a fine job with her creations. I also say that she is very worthy of supporting since she fills a definite need for items for Jewish and Christian folks. She also will use one of your photos if you have one you want on an item. Check her out!!

Something I found that is quite interesting.

Well a couple of days ago I joined at a site and found that I could be paid for things that I already do and it might replace another site the promised pay for participation and then did not continue in good faith The link is http://www.yuwie.com/yuwie.asp?r=60484

I blog and get viewed and so that helps me online endeavors that I already have. I share my pictures that mean something to me and that helps too. I leave comments and that helps my friends and in return they help me. So there is no end to the earnings. The site is a couple of months old and so maybe you have not heard about it. The video I viewed about it told me all I needed and I had hope that my friends that are already there would type out what they were doing and how it was benefitting them. I am a really busy lady and so I needed to know how much time it would demand of me. Thus far is is minimal and I can take as much or little time as my schedule permits. So check it out and of course let me know what you think of it. I am enjoying myself and hopefully as usually I can earn my own way.

http://www.yuwie.com/yuwie.asp?r=60484

Oh, almost forgot, the layouts are about endless I think. That makes it much more personal for you. Good luck!

High School Sports Site!!

If you have loved ones in high school and they are into sports, then I have found what they say is the Ultimate High School Sports Site. Featured Athletes, competitions among the best of the students as in a 3 point battle and a bench press battle. There are pictures of different atlestes at some point in their performances.
The membership is free. http://www.takkle.com/?promo_id=1178&af_aid=249e54de

With a video feature that you can email to your loved ones to keep them up to date on your 'star'. I think that it is a good idea to keep upcoming players imortalized on the net. I would have loved to Lebron James on this site. Would have been fascintating. Anyway, you could take a look and see if you too think that it is a great site to keep abreast of he statistics, pictures, and competitions. Have fun!!

A company worth a look!

There is a site that you can check out with the silky and natural fibers of clothing and nightwear and even other things. They are environmental minded and that is refreshing in this day and age. You pay for quality and they are very service oriented. http://www.dreamsack.com/XQ/ASP/1.Info/QX/Index.htm

Here is what she says on her site.

For a number of years my husband and I worked overseas. Our family traveled extensively, especially through Asia where sleeping accommodations were often rough. I made bed liners from old cotton sheets, but they were heavy to carry around. Because of my experience living in China, I was hit with the realization that these liners would be more comfortable, lighter, and more compact if they were made of silk. I had been a teacher in China, and after graduation one of my students worked in a silk factory so she and I worked together to get the first order completed. Friends and family liked them. Then word began to spread and now DreamSacks are used by travelers all over the world.

People that had DreamSacks called and said they liked sleeping in DreamSacks and asked if would we make some silk products to use on their beds at home. I remembered being in China and seeing silk comforters. I thought these sounded wonderful, so I worked with a factory to adapt the idea for the USA market. In addition to being soft, luxurious, and soothing, silk also helps people who are sensitive to chemicals or who have allergies. Being a natural fiber, silk is hypoallergenic, and feels restorative next to the skin. Chinese lore has it that sleeping on silk helps prevent wrinkles and “bed head”.

Through the years, DreamSacks has continued to evolve. We decided to expand our offerings to include products made from other natural fibers beyond just silks. We now offer an array of products made from Silk, Bamboo, Soy, and Cashmere. Recently, DreamSacks launched BambooDreams - a line of loungewear, nightwear, and yogawear made from 95% bamboo/5% spandex. We will be following the introduction of the bamboo clothing with bedding: sheets, pillowcases, and duvet covers, all made of 100% bamboo.

We feel very fortunate to develop relationships with the factories that produce our products and with the people who buy them. We visit the factories often and work only with places that provide a safe and friendly work environment for their employees. The dyes used to make the brilliant silk colors are free of hazardous chemicals and meet the strict environmental standards the Europeans require for dyes.

For our customers, we strive to be a valued provider of products that comfort and nurture. Here are some of the responses we have received from happy customers: “The silk comforter feels like heaven.” “DreamSacks make one feel so spoiled and pampered.” “There is an extra dimension of warmth and friendliness with these products. Bravo!”

Whatever products you choose, we know you will enjoy our natural fibers. We appreciate your business as well as your feedback and suggestions.

Sweet Dreams,

So these appear to be great even for camping and all other other enthusiasts. Just a thought since I too go camping and maybe be investing in a couple of items from this site. Happy shopping.
