As you all know, I normally put a link to something that will improve your life or that of a loved one. This time I am seeking to be of service to someone I have come to love on the net. This fine lady has done some free cooking videos/shows, paid ones too. Her current videos which are awesome is at Back to Basics Cooking class

I easily made time in my busy schedule online to view her videos and even learned a thing or two. Well, she has moved to France and her hubby had a job in a local auto garage. They have been great additions to their neighborhood there in France and even shared great motivating travel pics of the spots they frequented. He happens to be an artist and has a site where if you would be so kind to check out, there is some for sale and would help them out since the government there has not allowed for their continued participation in the lcoal economy. We all know it takes money to live thus the plea to share the link as well so that any with any disposable income or just collects artwork will have the opportunity to add to their collection and help a find couple and artist in the meantime. It has been a long time and I found the opportunity on a recent trip I took. Saw a billboard or road side advertising board and I thought it was perfect to share with you. If you have a boat or even a car you can check out this site http://www.boatangel.org/
I often find things that help those of us that are having a tough time on the lower end of the pay scale, however, this is one of those things that can benefit upper and lower ends of that pay scale. Better than having your beloved boat or car just sitting and deteriorating, you can donate it and get a tax write off. It will help even more by making that money you spent go really far. Got to this site and scroll down toward the bottom and click on Vision USA and there if you are low income or unemployed etc. you could get some help with your vision correction. You fill out a form and in about a month you should receive a voucher to see a participating eye doctor.

Is such a good thing to be able to find things like this and get it out onto the web where my friends and other subscribers can find it and spread it to their loved ones. I often do things online for my girlfriend that does not have a computer and this might be another one of those things.

I have found a site that might help you out if you need test strips to test your sugars. It is Abbott Labs. I have a friend that qualified for it a few years ago so it is an ongoing thing.

I have found a site and thought it good to share here. I saw that they even have coupons for pet medicine. Check it out, I hope it helps folks, if not you, then share it with someone you know that could use this site to get coupons to extend what money we all have left.

In the event you are concerned with eating, drinking and using GMO (genetically modified organism) foods then I have a link for you. A chart that can be printed and carried with you while shopping and then you have an idea of which products are potentially harmful I have known for a long time that if you cannot pronounce a substance then it is probably man made and no longer good for healthy functioning of our bodies. I believe that this lack of caring of what we put into our bodies has lent itself to the obesity problems and declining health of our nation. So on to the link. Whoever chooses to use this will need their cards since they have a 10 digit number to dial in when calling the user of this application. Sort of like a calling card I think. More and more of us are getting older and loss of hearing is something we will probably have to deal with on some level. Especially those with LOUD cars, those the use the earbuds or other musical listening device too loudly. Teaching my son and daughter to use sign language, I had a deaf friend once, and know that they will need that skill to help others in the future.

So check it out and share with those that could use this. I know I will keep it handy and hope others like it spring up and fill all our needs in the future.

I have found another site of interest I think. If you have someone one chemo for cancer treatment, this site has connections to arrange for house cleaning and maid service. It is a foundation so it is trustworthy and very noble. All that is needed is a fax from the doctor to this foundation for your friend, family member or co worker to get the service for free. I have been fortunate to have been on the receiving end of food donations since I lost my job and the fire we had a few years ago. The food given is of good quality and much appreciated since it allows us to have food we like longer during the month. Tough to eat when it is not what you are used to though when hungry you eat to keep the growlies away for sure. I hope none of you are in this situation but if you are help is out there. I have found a new site that might be interesting. We are what we eat and this site though not all inclusive it is a site that can give you an idea what is being taken in by our bodies. Also they do not have natural sugars and added sugars as the labels do not yet do that either. I would really like to see that on the labels.

I am unemployed and this is one thing that could add to my possible spending money to keep my household moving forward. Thankfully hubby still has his full time job. My 5 dollar meal

Hello, I found a site where I could be picked for a grand recognition about a 5 dollar meal. So here I go.

Cooked up Kielbasa Sausage which I bought for 2.29, then added the lima beans frozen bought at 1.54 and corn bought for .95 frozen. Added some water from the free spring down the road and then not sure if you count the energy.

Four cups of milk so that is half a gallon, if counted that adds .94 cents to the meal since we bought the milk at 1.89 a gallon. Used half the gallon.

So let me see, 2.29, 1.54, .95 = 4.78 or 5.72 counting the drink.

This fed two teen agers and my hubby as well as me. There was even a bit of leftovers. For lunch today.

I listen to the radion overnight while trying to sleep and I caught a news article of a lady that has done something that a handful of folks have now done and saved their home. Buying time at least is on your side in many cases.

Many times in our lives we feel worn out, worn down or some such thing. I thought that the picture featuring worn would be more like a much loved thing and then I thought of Willie Nelson. He has a guitar that he has used all his life. Notice that he has worn a hole in the face of it while performing all those wonderful songs.

About a party!

Well I blogged about that party online that you could attend and it was a good time. Was a first time for me and thus an interesting thing to blog about. Business ladies get together in a neat evironment where we could select a photo and chat amongst ourself. They will have Bingo on Friday. I look forward to that.

The first lady spoke about her SweetNSassy shop. I found it to be a really great shop with nice items. Of course for being at the party we got a few incentives from the lovely lady. Check it out and you will see why I bookmarked it for future use.

The next lady spoke about Creative Scentations A really great place to get the best smelling items. I bookmarked that one also. Again great incentives were offered to the attending ladies at this party. Even if you are not into candles they have other items which fit your needs.

Ladies came and went all during this get together and I met some really wonderful people. I wish you could have attended as well.

The next lady 'speaker' told us about Mineralicious A site where the makeup is totally tailored to you. If you have some issues with store bought makeup then this site has much to offer. Tailor made if you will. Might as well be nice to your skin while looking your best.

The next lady spoke about Jordan Essentials Here you can find items that will give you a spa experience. A well based company that cares about its customers. Another site where you could fine some relief from any issues you have about skin and body care.

Now we had a very nice lady tell us about Chocolate. The Dove brand is availabe and well worth the look to have delivered to your home. This was new to me and am so glad that I was there. I am getting the candy molds since I lost all of mine in my housefire. See for yourself how awesome this site is.

I have a lady that I am associated with in my town where I live and so the Home and Garden Party was a welcome and familiar site that I was glad to see. Just got my invitation in the mail today to the local party with fun and good eats with the shopping. There are online specials that are worth keeping an eye out for on a regular basis.

Then we had Tupperware! This is a well and long established company that has so many new items and certain items that are being returned. I am excited to find the things I lost in the fire and will be replacing them. If you don't have a tupperware lady then check this out since the items are sturdy and long lived in the house.

Finally we had Rosey's Gifts
This site has wooden roses that are of every hue. Also impressive is the list of aromas that the roses come imbued with. The fragrance lasts a long time and are a great adornment in the home. Something else that I asked for further information on and received a chance at winning a handful of those roses. They also have other items however wooden roses are the biggest thing thus far.

So a good time was had by all and I am very appreciative of the Admin of the homebiz network that I have been in contact with. She is awesome in her own right.

The ridiculous gas prices continue to fluctuate and are a part of the political campaigns now. I have found it a new thing when I am trolling about the web and attending some of the sites I regularly do that they are offering gas cards. Well if we do things online, like try things out and buy items we are interested in, that we would normally do anyway, I think that they can be a great addition to the 'money' we make online to help our real world lives at the following and other sites for gas cards.

OK, My newest post is an additional information for eye correction. Received a comment about pinhole eyeglasses and of course having not used them I looked them up. All things come with pros and cons. Well, this is what I found.....

Pinhole eyeglasses are easy to get, no prescription needed. They last a really long time comparatively to prescription eyeglasses and contacts. As usual they are not for everyone since thankfully we are all unique individuals. We cannot use them in dim light or while driving. Impairing our vision is never a good idea while driving or working with machinery. Although watching television or while computing they can be very handy. Their use as sunglasses is also mentioned.

I found in trolling the web for these particular and interesting glasses that they are also called Stenopeic eyeglasses. Often used to treat cataracts by Eye doctors. Being plastic or metal in a honeycombed pattern.

Personally I like to get my eyes checked by a professional so that I have an idea of what is going on with my eyes. I do not have health insurance at this time and find that getting my eyes checked which is affordable still and getting my prescription in my hand, important since I am bifocaled now, I can exercise my right to choose where I get my glasses and how much I pay. If I wished contacts would be an option to consider.

Having gotten my glasses online at 39dollarglasses.com and saved money doing so. Just a bit over 100 dollars for my well complemented wire framed glasses which also happened to be bifocals. I have happened to come across where you can get contacts online and save money the same way.

I am very active on the web and over time some sites kind of fall by the way side. I just got a notice from Zorpia.com where I had a warning and then boom a termination notice. So having sent them an email saying ok, I just talked about what was going on in my life and that mentioned the things I do online and that must be what is the problem. I told them most of the people that contacted me were out for sex talk and stuff and I found that harrassment. I do have a few friends that I had there that I keep in touch with elsewhere so that is not a problem there.
I just checked and it is listed as banned. hahahaha I made the last entry a year ago. They sure are on the ball.

Personally I think my lack of activity and the fact I did not pay to upgrade and stayed free irked them. So sad that they lost one lady and maybe a few more and the site will be more populated with perverted types. Oh well, like I said I did not go there anymore and even this blog had been on the back burner.

You see I had to work in the real world more since I lost the part time job I had worked at for a long time that made enough to keep this second income contributing.

Have been working as a temp and inteviewing fairly frequently but nothing real yet. I am interviewing this morning for a new custodial job. I think my girlfriend and I will work together again and that is great for both of us. We work so well together the job gets done and no complaints. Nice when that happens and it can be a benefit to any company.

Well, hopefully I will get this blog going again and I really do hope life is treating you kind. Being Banned is a such a negative thing. Just wanted to remind you all that the net is littered with such bad things. May you have much luck in keeping away from the sites and people online that are just not good for any of us.

My friend has a store on line and I have ordered some things from her and am so happy with them. I got myself some chimes now that I have a porch and they are terrific. I even got some that match my daughter favorite sheets, with the moon and stars!!! Also received some incense which I am much into. The prices are really reasonable and her service has been fantastic. In fact she bent over backwards I must say when I did not pay when I said I would. My bad, I had lost my job. In the United States I have Netflix and have found it a very good service. I have not had any major problems with this movie rental system. The minor things have been totally well taken care of. Well, my Canadian friends have a similar program and I bring it to you to take a look at.

I don't normally approve of having credit cards although they seem to be such a necessity so it is with pleasure to write about my Discover card. This is why! I had a fire in April and lost everything including my Discover card which they sent a limit I wanted. When I was settled into a rental and I called them, they sprund to action and told me how sorry they were for my difficulties. They ended up overnighting my new card since I do business online and that would allow me to continue to do the things I do. They also sent me a years worth of statements since I am a real record keeper. They have done wonders for my opinion of having credit cards.
Lately, I have gotten into a bit of a bind when our bank fee'd us practically to ruin. They are no longer our bank. They shall remain nameless since bad publicity can be good publicity. Well Discover has authorized a hold on my account per my request until I am paid which I have just done and changed my banking information. They provided me with a direct link so I did't have to click mutiple times. Anyway, now my payment is made and the interest rate has been dropped to give me more opportunity to pay on my bill.
I have to say they are great! If you need a credit card then PLEASE consider getting a Discover card. I cannot say enough about them.

I have not used Yahoo as much as I should have however I think that this intrigues me enough to start seeing how much Yahoo has improved. Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona

I have heard of this guy, sheriff briefly before. Now with a bit more information I think that he might just have something. Sheriff Joe Arpaio (in Arizona ) who created the "tent city jail": He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them.
He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails. Took away their weights. Cut off all but "G" movies.
The sheriff has started chain gangs so the inmates could do free work on county and city projects. Then he started chain gangs for women so he wouldn't get sued for discrimination.
He took away cable TV until he found out there was a federal court order that required cable TV for jails. So he hooked up the cable TV again only let in the Disney channel and the weather channel. When asked why the weather channel he replied,so they will know how hot it's gonna be while they are working on my chain gangs.
He cut off coffee since it has zero nutritional value. When the inmates complained, he told them, "This isn't the Ritz/Carlton. If you don't like it, don't come back."

He bought Newt Gingrich' lecture series on videotape that he pipes into the jails.
When asked by a reporter if he had any lecture series by a Democrat, he replied that a democratic lecture series might explain why a lot of the inmates were in his jails in the first place.
More on the Arizona Sheriff: With temperatures being even hotter than usual in Phoenix(116 degrees just set a new record), the Associated Press reports: About 2,000 inmates living in a barbed-wire-surrounded tent encampment at the Maricopa County Jail have been given permission to strip down to their government-issued pink boxer shorts. On Wednesday, hundreds of men wearing boxers were either curled up on their bunk beds or chatted in the tents, which reached 138 degrees inside the week before. Many were also swathed in wet, pink towels as sweat collected on their chests and dripped down to their pink socks. "It feels like we are in a furnace," said James Zanzot, an inmate who has lived in the tents for 1 year. "It's inhumane." Joe Arpaio, the tough-guy sheriff who created the tent city and long ago started making his prisoners wear pink, and eat bologna sandwiches, is not one bit sympathetic. He said Wednesday that he told all of the inmates: "It's 120 degrees in Iraq and our soldiers are living in tents too,and they have to wear full battle gear, but they didn't commit any crimes,so shut your da**ed mouths!" Way to go, Sheriff! Maybe if all prisons were like this one there would be a lot less crime and/or repeat offenders. Criminals should be punished for their crimes - not live in luxury until it's time for their parole, only to go out and commit another crime so they can get back in to live on taxpayers money and enjoy things taxpayers can't afford to have for themselves. Like in our case with no health insurance for the past few years. We are struggling to find employment with healthcare. Not quite right in a great country like ours. 6. Before you hit me remember that I have teeth and claws and could easily hurt you, but I choose not to bite and scratch you because I love you.

7. Be aware, that however you treat me, I will never forget!

8. Before you scold me for being uncooperative or bad, ask yourself if maybe something is wrong and there is another reason for my behavior. Perhaps I am sick, hot, old or just plain tired, frustrated and weak. PLEASE TRY TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IT IS LIKE TO BE ME AND PUT YOURSELF IN MY PLACE.

We have heard of cell phones possibly giving us cancer etc. So if you have any doubts some people use snopes.com They seem to tackle legends. Better to be forewarned in case this could happen. The Shell Oil Company recently issued a warning after three incidents in which mobile phones (cell phones) ignited fumes during fueling operations.

In the first case, the phone was placed on the car's trunk lid during fueling; it rang and the ensuing fire destroyed the car and the gasoline pump.

In the second, an individual suffered severe burns to their face when fumes ignited as they answered a call while refueling their car.

And in the third, an individual suffered burns to the thigh and groin as fumes ignited when the phone, which was in their pocket, rang while they were fueling their car.

You should know that:
Mobile Phones can ignite fuel or fumes

Mobile phones that light up when switched on or when they ring release enough energy to provide a spark for ignition

Mobile phones should not be used in filling stations, or when fueling lawn mowers, boat! , Etc.

Mobile phones should not be used, or should be turned off, around other materials that generate flammable or explosive fumes or dust, (i.e. solvents, chemicals, gases, grain dust, etc.)

1) Turn off engine
2) Don't smoke
3) Don't use your cell phone - leave it inside the vehicle or turn it off

Bob Renkes of Petroleum Equipment Institute is working on a campaign to try and make people aware of fires as a result of"static electricity" at gas pumps. His company has researched 150 cases of these fires.

His results were very surprising:
1) Out of 150 cases, almost all of them were women.
2) Almost all cases involved the person getting back in their vehicle while the nozzle was still pumping gas. When finished, they went back to pull the nozzle out and the fire started, as a result of static.
3) Most had on rubber-soled shoes.
4) Most men never get back in their vehicle until completely finished. This is why they are seldom involved in these types of fires.
5) Don't ever use cell phones when pumping gas
6) It is the vapors that come out of the gas that cause the fire, when connected with static charges.
7) There were 29 fires where the vehicle was re-entered and the nozzle was touched during refueling from a variety of makes and models. Some resulted in extensive damage to the vehicle, to the station, and to the customer.
8) Seventeen fires occurred before, during or immediately after the gas cap was removed and before fueling began.

Mr. Renkes stresses to NEVER get back into your vehicle while filling it with gas.

If you absolutely HAVE to get in your vehicle while the gas is pumping, make sure you get out, close the door TOUCHING THE METAL, before you ever pull the nozzle out. This way the static from your body will be discharged before you ever remove the nozzle.

This is only the beginning as the Kiwidipa Klub started out as an idea stemming from a question from my son that had to do with the divorce of his mom and I. It has blossomed into a wonderful story, and is in the building process of becoming a foundation. In order for that to happen I Need Your Help.

For adults it will be an avenue of showing support for families and friends that you have come across that endure the situations of divorce everyday. Here is the information about tracking Americans.....
I have found that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has launched an attack on our privacy rights and personal freedoms.

DHS is aiming to issue a national identity card, known as Real ID, to every American. The national ID card could dictate how you travel, what government buildings you can and cannot enter and whether or not some of your financial transactions would be authorized. Doesn't that concern anyone else other than me?

I really think that America does not need this costly "big brother" nightmare. Consider the following problems this would start:

The Real ID card would enable routine tracking of individuals and send us towards a surveillance type society.
This scheme opens the floodgates to invade the privacy of ordinary, law-abiding citizens which is the majority of all Americans.
The creation of a single interlinked database which would would create one-stop shopping for identity thieves, in otherwords this would help them to do crime.
The Real ID will make it easy for any business to save your personal information and sell it to other companies. I smell greed rearing its head in this case.
People whose religious beliefs forbid them from having their pictures taken or using a social security card will be forced to obey this law to participate in our society. Isn't this a form of persecution?
This Act creates huge administrative burdens for each state and will cost Americans over $23 billion through higher taxes and licensing fees. It provides no federal funds for implementation. More money out of our pockets!
The Department of Homeland Security is accepting comments on the Real ID Act. The number of comments will be watched by many influential Members of Congress, not just your own. So why don't we weigh in and let the power of the people speak again.
